IG-SUR is a company which applies geological knowledge to the sitting, design, construction, operation and maintenance of civil engineering infrastructures and facilities.
We designed brand identity and its applications. The basic concept we considered as the core to our further developments as the shapes and layers / slices which are shown at any engineering site where the ground is being excavated and the stratigraphic sequence is shown. Regarding typography, we chose a technical-look monospaced font just to bring more strength and coherence to the whole design proposal.
The result was a brand which, rather than appearing statically, was able to “be on the move”, to adopt different lay-outs and combinations, as the infinite different grounds in which the company would eventually carry out their job.
